A Yes or No Decision

A yes or no decision is a way of deciding whether or not to take a certain action (see Exhibit 13-1). Start with
a question about an action you’re considering. Use dialogue to explore the advantages and the disadvantages of your action. This process helps you make a decision by the yes side of your brain carrying on a dialogue with the no side. Write down the reason you have for wanting to take the action in the first place, an objection to that
reason, a rebuttal to the objection, another objection, and so forth, until either yes or no wins the argument.
