Immediately after each such interview, you should record notes on the key things that you may want to remember for the future:
Your referral’s interests What seemed to be his priorities Things you might help him with Names and information he gave you on referrals The date (if any) for followup The final thing you should do is take five minutes to ask yourself, “If I were going into the interview now, knowing what I do, what would I have done differently?” Learning as much as you can from each interview in your search will add considerably to your job hunting skills. If you’ve learned something to do or to avoid, add it to your preparation checklist for future networking interviews.
