Salary

This is a key issue that must be handled skillfully. Be well prepared with a good estimate of what the probable ballpark figure is of the salary for the position you’re seeking. Research it with one or two friendly recruiters and/or members of your trade association job support committee or your network. The salary question comes up
in many forms such as, What was your last salary? What has been your salary history? What is your salary expectation? However worded, the inquiry is basically the same. If it occurs early in the interview,
try to delay answering it by saying something like, “Salary is important, but can we defer discussing it until I know more about your job requirements?” Ultimately, you have to address it.
