  • Candidate should 4 year IT related college degree, (Computer Science preferred), Relevant CompTIA or Microsoft certifications 
  • Candidate should have 10 years relevant Experience in Desktop Support 
  •  Our client is not accepting applications from Tier 2 general visa

• Job Title: Desktop Support Engineer
• Job Location: Langley, Berkshire, UK 
• Job Type: Contract
• Contract Duration: 6 months to 12 months based on performance
• Job start: ASAP
• Daily Rates: £220/Day

Job Description:- 

• 4 year IT related college degree, (Computer Science preferred) 
• 10 years relevant Experience in Desktop Support 
• Excellent communication and customer/interpersonal skills 
• Executive level support 
• Relevant CompTIA or Microsoft certifications 
• Availability / Reliability / Responsiveness 24x7 (outside of normal business via scheduled on-call rota) 

• Responsibility for the end user systems within the primary and global corporate offices as well as remote users 
• Installing, configuring and maintaining Microsoft products 
• Providing install and configuration assistance to global engineering teams 
• Providing service management and vendor communications 
• Documentation of troubleshooting guides and technical product training 
• Providing assistance to Project Managers in delivering projects 
• Configuring and support of mobile devices 
• Providing support and mentoring to other team members 
• System administration 
• Active Directory management 
• Understand the corporate infrastructure (connectivity, network, server and telephony) 
• Awareness of VMware and virtual and cloud based technologies 
• Apple and Linux knowledge 
• Assist with office moves 
• BAU support via tickets
