  • Start Date : ASAP
  • Job Type: Permanent 
  • Salary: £16000 - £18000 Per Annum + Bonus, Pension, Healthcare

Skills and Experience required

  • Proven track record in a similar role.
  • Impressive sales record of meeting/beating targets
  • Ability to develop long term relationships
  • Proactive sales approach
  • Computer literate and able to use reporting systems
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and on the telephone.
  • Positive and Enthusiastic attitude.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve monthly sales and profit targets
  • Work towards monthly objectives
  • Ensure product and competitor knowledge is developed to a high level through reading trade magazines, web sites, manufacturer literature, asking questions
  • Identify potential sales opportunities and proactively develop them into orders
  • Continuous profiling of your accounts to understand their needs and buying patterns
  • Analyse your business, to ensure brand mix across each account as well as across your base increased monthly
  • Build relationships to encourage repeat business
  • Use various techniques to increase the sale including up selling, cross selling and switch selling to more profitable products.
  • Strike an appropriate balance between proactive sales calls to new and existing customer as well as reacting to incoming enquires.
  • Participate in all training sessions when required
  • Demonstrate a strong awareness of and commitment to Ethics and Compliance and the Group Business Conduct Guidelines.
